Emotional Reconnection after a long Inward Journey

After a long journey traveling through an empty landscape I arrive at an oasis in the desert. The clear water is inviting me to submerge myself into it, to wash away the dust of many ups and downs, across the sands of time.

The desert is a still devotional space under clear blue skies and starry nights. Time spent with my trusty camel, lost in thought with little surrounding water, little emotional connection. Upon arriving at the oasis, my camel settles to chew upon grasses growing near the water’s edge, and then lays to rest in the shade of a palm tree. He knows that we will be here for a while and that soon, others may join us.
